Who We Are
With a love for seeing children grow and become more independent in their daily lives, Helping Hands Therapy was created in order to provide high quality and child-centered therapy services. With this vision in mind, our team of fun-loving and energetic therapists know the importance of building relationships and creating meaningful therapy activities for each individual child they work with. We make therapy fun and functional!
Helping Hands Therapy takes pride in providing creative and effective therapy services to meet children’s needs in school and at home. We want to see your students/children grow to their fullest potential in all areas of life.
Our goal is to connect great therapists with schools and families that need services. Therapists are available to complete evaluations to determine a child’s functioning level, provide direct therapy services, consult and collaborate with staff and parents, and provide training in their specialty fields.
Currently, we offer occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech therapy in the school setting, as well as in the home for families with children that have special needs or delayed skills.
Our Founder
Rebecca Dillard, or Miss Becky, as the kids refer to her, has 15+ years of pediatric experience under her belt. She graduated with a Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri in 2005. Shortly after graduation, she landed in Arizona and found her niche in the schools and pediatric home health setting, as she has a passion for working with children. Rebecca loves to be creative with therapy activities and support the teachers and parents that work with these kids each and every day to provide the greatest growth possible.
Through her years of working with special needs children, she has discovered a need for connecting the right therapists to work with these children. Her goal through Helping Hands Therapy is to connect amazing therapists with the schools and families that need the support!
